Gypsum Bond
Aneeb Bond+ is a bonding agent providing excellent performance to bond gypsum plasters / sand cement plaster on smooth low suction internal RCC surfaces and eliminates hacking, roughening, and putting wire mesh on concrete surfaces. It is an especially formulated ready-to-use adhesive consisting of organ resin additives.
Characteristics
Ready to apply, not to be mixed or diluted
To be applied as a Single Coat using paint brush (width 4 or 6 inches)
Simple paint application with easy spreadability
Contains fine aggregates to impart superior mechanical bond
Aneeb Bond+ is the only bonding agent which imparts both mechanical and chemical bond
Mechanical Bond - Imparted by suspended fine aggregates (pure white in color)
Chemical Bond - Imparted by dry polymeric film (green in color, easy to identify applied surfaces)
High tensile strength polymer film able to bear heavy hanging load
Low wet density (0.928 g/cm³) providing coverage of approx. 5.0 Sq Mtr per Kg
Environmentally friendly, water-based neutral pH formula offering safety for workers
Bonding gypsum plasters and sand-cement plaster on smooth low suction internal RCC ceilings and columns
Smooth shuttered concrete walls, AAC block, and fly-ash brick masonry
Eliminates surface hacking, roughening, and wire mesh installation on concrete
How It Works
Free of POP: The formulation is free of POP and is a water based emulsion of high polymer which has been stabilized under neutral conditions. The formulation is designed for ready to use.
Environment friendly / Safety for the workers: The formulation is water based and thus has pH near 8-9. The neutral pH of the Solution is not harmful for the worker and thus offers safety of the workers.
High Adhesion: It offers outstanding adhesion with concrete—so high that it is hard to break with a hammer in comparison with available solutions. This formulation can provide high adhesive strength due to interlocking of the POP created in the micro voids created in the film as shown in the figure. The mechanical locking of the POP and chemical interaction with POP is able to provide outstanding adhesion.
High Coverage: This adhesive formulation has low wet density of 0.928 g/cm³ since it contains a higher amount of high polymers than fillers. It also results in high coverage in the range of 5 sq/m.
High tensile strength of the polymer film: The tensile strength of the polymer film is very high and thus it can bear more hanging load. Easy to apply due to low viscosity of 8.816 p at 100rpm with spindle number in viscometer.
How to apply: The bonding agent should be well shaken before applying on a well cleaned surface. The surface should be cleaned with a piece of cloth and should be free of oil or any other organic matter. One coat of the film should be made with the help of a brush (bristles width 4 or 6 inches). The formulation cannot be diluted by the addition of water and the addition of any other additive is not recommended. The formulation should be stored in a clean dry and sealed container, avoided from exposure to direct sunlight.
Apply Timing: Gypsum Plaster will be applied any time once Aneeb Bond+ dries completely onto the surface; approximate time for drying is 24 hours (depending on climatic conditions and location).
Caution: 1. Wash hands with water after use. 2. Keep away from Eye contact; in case of eye contact wash eye thoroughly with water. If irritation persists consult physician. If at all spills on clothes, wash them with plain water immediately.
